About CumDenyHer

CumDenyHer is the brain child of Siren, a fairly long-time enthusiast of orgasm denial, both as a sub and a Domme. She has about 20 years on and off experience with BDSM in both roles or as a switch. The goal of this site is to provide a community foundation for those who enjoy or are exploring female orgasm denial.

About the Site (Techy Stuff)

drupal-logo.jpgCumDenyHer was created using Drupal 7. Drupal is an open source CMS (content management system) similar to WordPress or Joomla... but enormously more powerful. Some advantages of using Drupal for a site like this:

  • Database driven - Because Drupal is database driven, it means that information is stored incrementally and specifically. Data of every sort can be displayed in almost limitless permutations. As an example, the images on this site are seen in the slider at the bottom of the home page, as a table in the images page, and on individual pages for each image. Each image is only added once, but Drupal is set up to display that information all sorts of ways.
  • User Management - Drupal handles users and security extraordinarily well. From new user form flexibility to role based permissions, if you can imagine doing it, there is probably a solution.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - No content management system is better for SEO than Drupal. Due to its database structure, navigation structure, and ability to add powerful modules for optimization, Drupal outperforms other platforms by an order of magnitude when it comes to being found on Google.
  • Downsides of Drupal - Of course there are always trade offs. Drupal is much more powerful and flexible but also enormously more complex that platforms like WordPress. This means that development time is much longer and creating a site that lay people can easily manage isn't very doable. It's also quite heavy and slower load times can be expected.
